We live in an electronic world. Most of us have some sort of battery operated device in our packs and hardly anyone goes without a cellphone/smart-phone. We all know that sinking feeling of having a dying battery just when we need it the most! We at BOSS carry electronics (flashlights, GPS, 2-way radios etc) that all carry the same size battery. The AA size. We have come across something very useful. It's a foldable, flexible solar powered device that has 4-AA batteries on board and a USB output to charge a cellphone! This unit has the capability of charging 8-AA rechargeable batteries in an 8 hour day! That means, no more need to carry around a case of standard batteries for backup!!! AWESOME HUH!! It folds up nice and compact into a 3"x6"x1.25" unit. very light weight.
